WAYLAND, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Candela Corporation (NASDAQ:CLZR) today reported results for the first fiscal quarter ended September 27, 2008. Revenues of $26.9 million in the first quarter decreased 24.2 percent from $35.5 million in the comparable prior-year period. The Company reported a net loss of $4.0 million, or $0.18 per share, for the first fiscal quarter versus net income of $187,000, or $0.01 per share, in the corresponding period last year.
