Sanofi isn’t the only one hiring, others are hiring too! Check it out! (Isn’t it tempting?)
Following on the heels of a Cambridge City Council vote in support of the employees, janitors working at the Sanofi/Genzyme facility in Kendall Square demonstrated Thursday, Jan. 16, demanding job security as the pharmaceutical giant looks to hire a new contractor. On Monday, Jan. 13, the council unanimously adopted a policy order submitted by Councilor Leland Cheung urging the biotech company to award a new cleaning contract to signatories of a local Service Employees International Union (SEIU) “to provide job security and stability for the existing workers” at the company’s Cambridge site. “One of the promises these companies make is that they will provide jobs to our residents,” Cheung said.
Don’t forget, hundreds of biopharma companies are hiring! (We know you can’t resist.)
