Biomedical Systems Adds to Its Business Development Team, Hires Top Talent

St. Louis, Mo. (June 13, 2012) - Biomedical Systems, a global provider of centralized diagnostic services, recently expanded its clinical trials division by adding Cherie Patterson, Kevin Juenger, John McFadden, Joseph Stafford and Tatsumi Shimada. As business development directors, the new team members will manage growing business territories located throughout the United States, Canada and Asia.

“Our new directors will expand Biomedical’s presence, helping us to grow our market share by providing clients with access to highly skilled individuals who offer industry expertise and our shared commitment to client service,” said Eliana Burke, area manager of the U.S. West and Asia Pacific Rim.

Biomedical Systems’ New Business Development Directors Cherie Patterson As the director of business development for the Chicagoland, upper Midwest and mid-Canadian regions, Patterson comes to Biomedical Systems with more than 20 years of experience working in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to joining Biomedical Systems, she served as the Midwest director of business development for AAIPharma Services in Wilmington, N.C. -more- Kevin Juenger Based in St. Louis, Juenger is responsible for business development in Tennessee, Texas and parts of the Midwest. He comes to Biomedical Systems with more than 16 years of pharmaceutical sales experience. Prior to joining Biomedical Systems, Juenger worked as a senior oncology consultant in the biotech industry.

John McFadden McFadden serves as the director of business development for Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio and Michigan, with his headquarters in Philadelphia. He brings more than 15 years of experience working in business development and clinical consulting to Biomedical Systems. Previously, McFadden held the position of senior account executive of business development and life science services at QC Laboratories.

Joseph Stafford Based in Charleston, S.C., Stafford is in charge of Biomedical Systems’ business development for the southeastern United States. He was previously the director of business development at REGISTRAT-MAPI in Lexington, Ky. Stafford offers more than 11 years of experience working in the clinical trial and business development services for leading clinical research organizations.

Tatsumi Shimada Shimada is responsible for business development in Japan and is the first Biomedical Systems director based in the Asian country. Prior to joining Biomedical Systems, Shimada worked as a senior administrative manager at Suzuken Co., Ltd., in Tokyo. He has worked in Japan’s pharmaceutical and drug manufacturing industries since graduating from Tokyo University in 1986.
