TOKYO, April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Arysta LifeScience Corporation announced today that Peter Cimmet has joined its executive team as head of Business Development. Cimmet will focus on expanding Arysta’s business globally through strategic acquisitions in its core businesses of crop protection and life science. In this new role, Cimmet will work closely with President and CEO Dr. Christopher Richards and Tatsumi Ikeda, Arysta’s global head of Acquisitions & Licensing. Cimmet will be based in the company’s San Francisco office.

Cimmet comes to Arysta LifeScience from Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he was a vice president in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group, based in San Francisco. He has more than 11 years of investment banking experience and spent the past five years as a senior member of the Goldman Sachs mergers and acquisitions team covering the technology industry. Cimmet holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a B.S. from Rochester Institute of Technology.
