PHILADELPHIA, PA – September 16, 2013 –– ERT, a leading global solution provider for high-quality patient safety and efficacy endpoint data collection, today announced an additional expansion of its executive management team. It has appointed Steven Herne as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

As CCO, Steven is responsible for all global business development activities within ERT. His primary objective is to ensure ERT’s products and services best meet the needs of its global biopharmaceutical and healthcare customers. “We are thrilled to have Steven join our executive management team,” said Jeffrey Litwin, M.D., CEO of ERT. “His significant experience and understanding of our customers’ needs will prove extremely valuable as we continue to strengthen the breadth of services and solutions that ERT provides to the biopharmaceutical market.”

Steven has over 19 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, of which he spent the last 14 years focused intensively on business development, strategic development, product management, and marketing. Steven has held executive roles at major Contract Research Organizations (CROs), spanning the drug development spectrum with a key focus on customers and service delivery.
