SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Affymetrix Inc., (NASDAQ:AFFX) today reported its operating results for the first quarter of 2009. Total revenue for the quarter was $78.6 million, as compared to total revenue of $169.6 million, including an intellectual property payment of $90 million, in the first quarter of 2008.
