SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advanced Medical Optics, Inc. (AMO) [NYSE:EYE], a global leader in ophthalmic surgical devices and eye care products, today announced financial results for the second quarter of 2007. The company’s second-quarter 2007 net sales rose 1.7 percent to $261.4 million. The sales increases related to the April 2007 acquisition of IntraLase Corp. and organic growth were offset by lost sales and product returns related to the May 2007 MoisturePlus recall. Foreign currency impacts increased net sales by 1.7 percent.
