The Plain Dealer -- The new tax on medical device manufacturers contained in the Senate and House of Representatives health insurance reform bills is illogical. The proponents of these bills are touting that they will improve medical care and reduce costs. How can a tax on medical device manufacturers be compatible with those goals?
