MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A new study published in the current issue of the Journal of Child Neurology indicates that a treatment from Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE:MDT), for spasticity in children with cerebral palsy improves their quality of life and is cost-effective compared to other established cost-effective treatments. The findings of this Medtronic-sponsored study should expand access to the treatment, known as Medtronic ITB TherapySM (Intrathecal Baclofen Therapy).
