ST PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--St. Jude Medical, Inc., (NYSE:STJ) today reported results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2006. The Company reported net sales of $821 million, an increase of 11% compared to the $738 million reported in the third quarter of 2005. Favorable foreign currency translation comparisons increased third quarter sales by about $7 million.
