COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., May 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Spectranetics Corporation today announced that it is offering 3,600,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $12.50 per share. The offering is expected to close on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 and is subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. Spectranetics has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 540,000 shares of common stock to cover overallotments, if any.
Jefferies & Company, Inc. is the sole book runner and lead managing underwriter. First Albany Capital Inc. is the co-lead manager, and Montgomery & Co., LLC and Rodman & Renshaw, LLC are acting as co-managers for the offering.
