LONDON, UK - 9 October 2007 -- SkyePharma PLC (LSE: SKP) today announces that Jeremy Scudamore has been appointed as the new Non-Executive Chairman of the Company with effect from 15 October 2007 replacing Dr Jerry Karabelas, the current Non-Executive Chairman. He will also be appointed as a member of the Nomination & Governance Committee. Dr Karabelas, who was appointed as Non-Executive Chairman in February 2006, will stay on as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.
