(Nasdaq:SGNT) today announced the launch of Paclitaxel Injection, USP, a chemotherapy drug, in 30 mg, 100 mg and 300 mg latex-free, multi-dose vials. According to IMS, the 2011 U.S. market for generic injectable paclitaxel approximates $46 million. As with all products in Sagent’s portfolio, paclitaxel features the company’s PreventIV MeasuresSM packaging and labeling designed to aid in the reduction of medication errors.
