Pfizer Inc. To Hand Over Hospital To Kano Government

The Diagnostic and Disease Control Centre (DDCC), a specialist hospital built by Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company will soon be handed over to Kano State government by the company. The hospital, which was constructed at the cost of $25.5 million to compensate victims of the 1996 drug trial in the town, will serve as a research centre for infectious diseases, such as malaria, cholera, among others.
