METTLER TOLEDO is pleased to announce the dates of its 2017 conference exploring Flash DSC technology.
METTLER TOLEDO will hold its third biennial Flash DSC Conference from November 27th-29th, 2017, in Zürich, Switzerland. Scientists from around the world will present research using the MEMS-based microchip technology. An optional fourth day, November 30th, will provide in-depth instruction on setting up Flash DSC experiments. Greifensee, Switzerland—[October 18th, 2017]—METTLER TOLEDO is pleased to announce the dates of its 2017 conference exploring Flash DSC technology. With heating rates exceeding 7 decades, the MEMS-based chip method gives researchers the ability to analyze crystallization and reorganization processes that were previously impossible to measure. Talks will be designed to shed light on uses of this innovative and exciting thermal analysis technique. The tentative topic list for the three-day conference session includes Tg of Polymer Nanorods, Thermal Behavior of Polyamide Recyclate, Investigations of Polyurethane Crystallization, and Polymer Crystallization/Melting. A fee of $250 admits attendees to all talks and includes lunches all three days and the conference dinner Tuesday night. 2017 also marks the introduction of an optional fourth conference day that will offer attendees an opportunity to receive hands-on training in the use of Flash DSC technology. For conference attendees, the day of instruction is an additional $350. Those wishing to attend the training only can do so for a fee of $675. The conference will be held at Swissotel in Oerlikon, Zürich. Please contact the hotel in advance at +41 44 317 3111 or zurich@swissotel.com to reserve a room at conference pricing.
