Medsurant Holdings’ coast-to-coast presence is strengthened through its national neuromonitoring group of practices. Each of the seven practices offers the service of monitoring neurologic functions to increase patient safety during a surgical operation or procedure.
In 2012, Medsurant Holdings acquired Physiologic Assessment Services (PAS) where Dr. Grinman became employed as a remote IONM Interpreting Physician. In 2014, he was promoted to Medical Director. Prior to that he founded and served as Co-Medical Director of HomeSleep Medical, PC a company that provides Home Sleep Testing and Sleep Wellness services.
As a neurologist and sleep-trained physician, Dr. Grinman was already familiar with the modalities utilized in intraoperative monitoring. With Medsurant’s IONM services, Dr. Grinman’s interests and expertise naturally lead him to the company as the next step in his career.
Now as Medsurant’s CMO, Dr. Grinman is responsible for clinical performance and oversight of all physicians who monitor surgeries throughout Medsurant’s national footprint. He also oversees and assists with the hiring of new physicians among other tasks that also include personally monitoring cases.
