MediGene AG (Frankfurt, Prime Standard: MDG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Hans Joachim Bochtler, MD, as Vice President Clinical Research & Development. Dr Bochtler succeeds Dr Axel Mescheder, who was appointed Executive Board Member for Research & Development in May 2008. Dr Bochtler is a physician with long-standing management experience in clinical research and development at both international pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Most recently, he served as Chief Scientific Officer of Fresenius Biotech GmbH.
