Medical Services International Inc. Increases Production In Third Quarter

EDMONTON, Alberta, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Medical Services International Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received additional VScan HIV test kit orders from China. In addition to the VScan HIV test kits required by its existing contracts, the Company has been asked to supply an additional 200,000 VScan HIV test kits by January 15, 2006. The Company has indicated that it has the capacity and has agreed to supply the additional kits. Production will be completed out of the company’s India facility.

This unexpected order will result in additional revenue in excess of $400,000 US. This is in addition to the existing revenue projections of $1,630,000 US for the third quarter. The company is also continuing with its program to obtain regulatory approval of all VScan products in additional countries where market studies show that there will be a demand for the VScan products. The inquiries that the company continues to receive about the VScan products is substantial. The accuracy of the VScan HIV test kit using “whole” blood continues to demonstrate high (99.6%) sensitivity and specificity regardless of how difficult the testing conditions. It requires no medical facilities or medical personnel to do the testing.
