SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 25, 2006--Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE: KCI - News): First Quarter Highlights: Net earnings increased 31% to $48.5 million. Net earnings per diluted share increased 29% to $0.66 per share. U.S. V.A.C. revenue increased 23% to $186.1 million. Total revenue increased 14% to $319.2 million Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE: KCI - News) today reported first quarter 2006 total revenue of $319.2 million, an increase of 14% from the first quarter of 2005. Foreign currency exchange movements negatively impacted total revenue for the first quarter of 2006 by 1% compared to the corresponding period of the prior year.
