Wakeman has leveraged his therapeutic and strategic alliance experience to further expand INC Research’s clinical delivery alliance services that address customers’ wide-ranging needs.

Wakeman joins INC Research with more than 15 years of CRO and drug development experience. His CRO experience spans proposal and contract development, clinical operations and senior level business development responsibilities. Prior to joining INC Research Wakeman was vice president, US Business Development for Premier Research, a global CRO, which focused in the central nervous system, oncology and pediatric drug development areas. In this role, he was responsible for corporate marketing, business development strategy and implementation, leading the U.S.-based business development team and interacting directly with clients to build preferred and strategic alliances. Wakeman has been successful building strategic relationships across the industry spectrum, including virtual biotechs to some of the industry’s largest pharmaceutical companies. He received a BS in Business Management from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
