Gululu Interactive Water Bottle Partners With Gamers Rock to Launch ‘Level Up H2O Fun Hydration’

Gululu announces its partnership with the health-focused gaming company Gamers Rock LLC.

NEW YORK, Sept. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Gululu, the world’s first interactive, smart water bottle for children announces its partnership with the health-focused gaming company Gamers Rock LLC. The joint initiative, “Level Up H2O Fun Hydration,” uses the latest computer technology and motion sensor gaming to encourage youth to meet recommended daily water intake while participating in sport activities.

The partnership aims to combine a validated device for tracking water intake and a comprehensive rewards program, to provide kids with an entirely new hydration experience. Using a “learning through play” approach, the initiative strives to cultivate healthy hydration habits and transform them into a lifetime of healthy living. The rewards program will act as a great incentive to encourage participants to drink more water and complete their assigned hydration goals.

No child will be turned away from joining the “Level Up H2O Fun Hydration” initiative. A family interested in a Gululu water bottle will be also able to earn it by successfully promoting “Level Up H2O Fun Hydration” apparel with family and friends. All of the proceedings from apparel sales will be used to donate Gululu water bottles for less fortunate children. Enhancing visibility for the new initiative through branded apparel will be a great way to raise awareness and promote further adoption.

This summer, the “Level Up H2O Fun Hydration” initiative launched summer camp pilot programs with some of the respected after-school programs in the country; these include The Boys & Girls Club of America, YMCA, American Diabetes Camps, 4H, and Magic Johnson Empowerment Centers. The summer camp pilot programs took place in Georgia, New Jersey, Texas, Virginia, and Ohio.

“The overall impression of the ‘Level Up H20 Fun Hydration’ initiative and the Gululu bottle has been positive. Parents should always encourage their children to drink more water instead of sugary drinks and stay healthy,” said Mary Kauffman, Manager of the Magic Johnson Community Empowerment Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

“We are delighted to enter this partnership with a global leader in the field of interactive hydration technology,” said Gamers Rock founder and “Level Up H2O Fun Hydration” Executive Director, Jermaine Hargrove. “The joint project will raise awareness and support healthier lifestyles for children around the world,” he added.

“We believe this partnership will make a positive impact for more children in the US and beyond,” said Gululu co-founder, Asi Meskin. “Our founder Alvin Chiang, has been living with type 2 diabetes since his 30s. His mission is to find new ways to help promote children’s health and wellbeing. In the near future, we will integrate AI capabilities to make our product more fun and interactive. We have also just launched ‘Gululu Go’ a smaller, lighter, and more portable bottle, to support the active lifestyle of the kids,” he said.

The implementation of the “Level Up H2O Fun Hydration” initiative will take place this fall in selected schools and after-school programs all over the United States. Launches in Canada, Australia, and other countries are currently planned for 2019.

In 2017, with the mission of improving children’s health around the world, Gululu joined hands with the humanitarian organization Generosity.org. Through the partnership, for every Gululu bottle purchased, a portion of the funds go towards building clean water wells next to schools in developing countries. The proceeds from the “Level Up H2O Fun Hydration” initiative will also join this endeavour. Learn more about “Level Up H2O Fun Hydration” and how to participate by visiting www.gamersrock.com
