(NASDAQ:DYAX) today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted orphan drug designation to its drug candidate DX-2930, its fully human monoclonal antibody inhibitor of plasma kallikrein, for use in the treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE).
