BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--To mark the second annual Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) Day, Dyax Corp. today announced the launch of HAE Allies, a new program recognizing the physicians, nurses, family members and friends who support HAE patients in their efforts to live life to the fullest. By drawing from the inspiring stories of individual HAE patient allies nationwide, the program seeks to underscore the value of support for those living with this potentially life-threatening condition, which is characterized by spontaneous episodes of edema, or swelling, in the face, feet, hands, throat, and abdomen.
