Monday, June 14, 6:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. “Transforming Ostomy Care Restoring Patients’ Colostomy Continence and Quality of Life”
In this symposium, the Vitala Continence Control Device (CCD), a new pouchless ostomy management system designed to temporarily restore a patient’s colostomy continence and quality of life, will be introduced. Clinical evidence will be presented and clinicians’ real world experiences with this transformative management system will be discussed.
Monday, June 14, 6:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. “Connecting the Dots": Validating Wound Care AlgorithmsFrom Theory to Clinical Practice”
Faculty will present the results and implications of a study that was conducted to validate the use of Solutions® Wound Care Algorithms with non-expert health professionals. Case presentations will illustrate how the implementation of these algorithms in clinical practice have had a positive impact on healthcare professionals’ treatment decisions resulting in better clinical and economic outcomes and improvements in the provision of quality wound care.
