Carbon Nanotube Maker Bio-Pact Makes Big Move to Cambridge

Bio-Pact, an eight-month-old Arizona company that applies recent breakthroughs on carbon nanotube technology to the life sciences, has decided to move its corporate headquarters to Kendall Square.

Gov. Deval Patrick personally met with representatives from the company last June at the annual BIO convention in San Diego, one of five life science firms he tried to lure to the state. At the time, Bio-Pact already had operations in the state, but today the company announced it will be based at 245 First St. in Cambridge.
