Dr. Maung graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science. He then attended New York Medical College where he received his Doctorate of Medicine in 1999. In 2000 he finished his internship at the Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, California. Dr. Maung completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at UCLA's Harbor Medical Center in 2004, his fellowship in Neuroradiology in 2005 and now holds a position as a clinical professor.
