“Hunter is committed to giving OEMs the opportunity to bring their life-changing and sometimes life-saving medical products to market. Plus, obtaining an FDB license means that we’re one step closer to FDA registration. It’s just one of the many ways we ensure our manufacturing processes follow incredibly stringent regulations for medical devices,” said Hunter Director of Quality Dan Jackson.
The FDB, which partners with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), provides an uncompromising standard of public health protection by assuring medical devices produced and retailed in California are safe and effective. Hunter will renew its FDB license annually, in addition to undergoing periodic renewal inspections. As a prerequisite, Hunter also achieved ISO 13485:2003 certification, and was recently awarded an IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) from IPC’s Validation Services Program. Additional certifications are listed at www.hunter-technology.com/our-quality.
