BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HUNT Biosciences Ltd was officially launched internationally today at BIO2007 as the commercial arm of the HUNT Study, and its large population based biobank. Founded following widespread research interest, the new company aims to provide an interface for pharmaceutical and healthcare companies with the HUNT survey and biobank. Offering a unique resource for genetic epidemiology-based R&D, the HUNT Study has long been highly regarded in the biobank sector, because of its astonishing 88% participation and detailed phenotype and environmental data gathered over 20 years.
