February 15, 2011 -- Diatron Group, an innovative manufacturer of Hematology and Clinical Chemistry instruments and reagents announced today that they had received FDA 510k clearence for its Pictus 400 Clinical Chemistry instrument.
The Pictus 400 is a bench top analyser that will perform up to 400 tests per hour including ISE's.
"We are very excited about our first entry into the US market" said Jim Schepp, the companys CEO.
" Our target market is the Physician Office Lab and small to medium sized hospital labs." the small foot print, speed and value of our instrument will very attactive to this segment of the IVD market" Schepp stated.
The company also plans to introduce two Hematology instruments (3 part and 5 part differential) to the US Market.
