TROY, Mich., Feb. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- CareTech Solutions, an information technology and health information management services provider for hospitals and health systems, today announced that Christopher Catallo has been named director of WebCare(TM), the company’s Web services division. Based in Troy, Mich., Catallo will lead planning, development and implementation for CareTech’s online service offerings for hospitals and healthcare systems.

Catallo brings more than 10 years of technology experience and leadership to CareTech. He most recently served as vice president of operations for a leading edge software and Internet development firm, where he was responsible for leading a team of developers, designers and marketing professionals in delivering product-based applications for the Internet. His experience also includes designing interactive media programs, high-end computer editing workstations, and stand-alone kiosks. Catallo also helped lead in the development of an expansion of the firm to include medical software solutions for the healthcare industry.
Catallo holds a bachelor of science degree from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich., and was honored as the university’s 2001 Alumni of the Year.
