Independent Mail -- A privately held niche manufacturer of safety equipment will build a new manufacturing plant and administration complex in Pickens County’s industrial park. Allegro Industries of Garden Grove, Calif., announced Monday that it would build the $3.5 million, 40,000-square-foot structure and be operational by the second quarter of next year.
