Masterplan Announces Appointment Of David Winn As CEO

CHATSWORTH, Calif., July 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Masterplan's Board Chairman and Members are pleased to announce that David Winn has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. David has over 25 years of experience in the corporate and private equity sector. He recently completed a role as CEO of Tenovis, a Frankfurt-based telephone equipment and services firm with a billion dollars in revenue and 6,000 employees located in 10 countries. David brought Tenovis to profitability and an eventual acquisition by AVAYA, a NYSE-listed corporation.

In 2000 David became European President of the web-hosting services firm, SiteSmith, which was later acquired by a NASDAQ-listed company. Prior to that, David held various executive positions for IBM Europe, including: General Manager for the Personal Computer division in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), which entailed managing a business of $3.5 billion across 110 countries; Vice President Marketing for IBM's $24 billion business in EMEA; and Vice President Business Innovation Services, where he managed systems integration and consulting for European financial services companies.

Prior to IBM, David was Vice President, International Marketing at American Express in New York, before being appointed President of American Express Bank in France. David holds degrees from Yale and Harvard Business School.

Bruce Cree will continue with the company in the role of President and Chairman of the Board.
