Global Hemophilia Researchers And Caregivers Receive $2.75 Million In Grants From Bayer Biological Products

SYDNEY, Australia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 8, 2005--The Biological Products Division of Bayer HealthCare, LLC, (Bayer BP) today honored 26 healthcare professionals and caregivers from the worldwide hemophilia community representing the 2005 Bayer Hemophilia Awards Program (BHAP) grant recipients. Awardees will receive a total of $2.75 million in grants to fund basic and clinical research, as well as educational programs to advance the state of hemophilia care. The award recipients were honored at a special dinner reception held in conjunction with the XXth Congress of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis in Sydney, Australia.
