3M Health Care Information Systems Announces 2011 Client Experience Summit

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH--(Marketwire - April 04, 2011) -

This year's 3M Client Experience Summit will highlight industry best practices, showcase the latest 3M technologies, and offer a rich agenda of seminars and workshops focused on ICD-10 readiness, clinical documentation improvement, computer-assisted coding, and outcomes measurement.

The Client Experience Summit is offered at no charge to all 3M Health Information Systems clients. Registration can be completed at the conference website.

Over the course of four days, Summit attendees will participate in more than 65 education sessions, with ICD-10 a special focus of this year's agenda. "Our clients tell us that the opportunity to share real-world experiences and solutions with their peers is a primary benefit of attending the Summit," said JaeLynn Williams, senior vice president for 3M Health Information Systems. "We've organized this year's meeting to provide an even greater learning and networking experience for those that attend."

During the Client Experience Summit, 3M Health Information Systems will announce the recipients of its annual 3M Innovator of the Year Awards, which honor select customers based on nominations from clients and 3M staff members. The Innovator of the Year awards showcase and encourage innovative client initiatives that enhance processes and workflow, drive interoperability, enable informed decision making, or improve patient care.

Clients attending the Summit will also have the opportunity to visit the 3M Health Information Systems Innovation Center, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to collaboration between 3M and its clients, located onsite at the 3M division headquarters in Salt Lake City.
