Hill-Rom to Shutter Tridien Medical's Indiana Facility, 69 Jobs Affected

F ISHERS - A Florida-based company says it will close its Fishers facility late next year. Tridien Medical, which was acquired last year by Chicago-based Hill-Rom (NYSE: HRC), says in a filing with the state the decision will affect 69 employees.

The first round of Indiana employees are expected to be let go January 31 and continue through the end of September. Hill-Rom Executive Director of Human Resources says in a letter to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development the decision was caused by "changing business needs." The plant closing, the company says, is expected to be permanent.
