MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Medical Systems Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMMD) reported revenue of $120.4 million for the first quarter of 2008, an 11.1 percent increase over revenue of $108.4 million in the comparable quarter of 2007. The Company reported 2008 first quarter net income of $8.2 million, or $0.11 per share, compared to net income from continuing operations in the same period last year of $4.4 million, or $0.06 per share. The Company also reported a strong cash EPS performance in the first quarter of 2008 of $0.17 per share compared to $0.13 per share in the comparable period last year.
