We understand that our service levels have suffered and as such we have implemented a campaign that will be focused on throughout the year to come to ensure a guarantee of service level improvements across the board. However, we are pleased to announce one of the challenges we faced with regard to our Non-Competition lawsuit has now successfully come to an end.
In the recent months, customers have reported that they were contacted by former employees of Amatheon Animal Health (Amatheon) and their new employer, Pharmsource, LLC, in an effort to sell human pharmaceuticals to the veterinary market. At Amatheon, we pride ourselves on the great reputation we have built fostering strong customer relationships since 2002. Accordingly, Amatheon was forced to take actions to protect our reputation and prevent our former employees from using our intellectual property and confidential information to compete against Amatheon.
Please be advised that a Court Order has been issued, prohibiting Yasmine Garcia, Angela Ruiz-Kandler, Kevin Vander Voord, Nemesio Leon, Maykel Fernandez and Pharmsource from engaging in the business of selling and/or distributing pharmaceuticals of any sort anywhere in the U.S. to the animal health industry for a period of 12 months beginning July 11, 2018.
