The announcement comes on the heels of a distribution deal with Kirkstall, Ltd., which made TRL the primary distributor of Kirkstall’s 3-D cell fluidic culture system, Quasi Vivo®, in the US and Canada.
The workshop will offer researchers the opportunity to access an intimate understanding of the Quasi Vivo® system through a series of lectures and discussions, and hands-on experience with a cell culture experiment.
“Beyond the hands on use of Quasi Vivo®, users will come away generally with new knowledge of how fluidics can improve the physiological relevance of their in vitro systems and be able to then convey that among their colleagues with a significant amount of authority,” said Dr. Maureen Bunger, Technical Director at TRL.
During the workshop, the lectures will come from U.K. based, Kikstall, Ltd. representatives Dr. Kelly Davidge and Dr. J Malcolm Wilkinson, both of whom have expert knowledge of the Quasi Vivo® product line and its various applications.
