The Blue Foundation For A Healthy Florida Elects New Board Members

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The Blue Foundation for a Healthy Florida, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida's (BCBSF) philanthropic affiliate, recently elected four new officers and two new members to its 11- member board of directors.

New board members are: Chip Kenyon, director, product line management, elected for a two-year term, and Melvyn Fletcher, M.D., vice president, field medical programs, elected for a one-year term. Bruce Bagni has retired and Susan Wildes has rotated off the board.

The foundation elected new officers: Randy Kammer, president; Patrick McCabe, vice president; Deanna McDonald, treasurer; and Tony Jenkins, secretary. All four are vice presidents at BCBSF.

Through strategic grant making, The Blue Foundation supports programs that increase access to quality health-related services for uninsured and underserved Floridians. The Blue Foundation annually awards up to $1 million in grants.
