Awarded the contract based on technical merit and competitive pricing, Sysmex will standardize hematology instrumentation, training, technical support, and service for HCA Midwest Health System hospitals and clinics. HCA Midwest Health System, a network of 12 state-of-the-art hospitals and multiple treatment facilities offering primary, acute, tertiary and chronic healthcare services in the greater Kansas City area, is owned and operated by Hospital Corporation of America, Nashville, Tennessee. HCA Midwest Health System currently performs hematology testing on more than 850 specimens per day.
