Using AERS, Synteract continues to perform safety surveillance, reporting and management, and is a value-added service provider of the product. The upgraded version has enhanced medical information and product complaint features. The Company's Safety Department specializes in the performance of pharmacovigilance services, such as case entry, safety monitoring and assessment, regulatory submission and reporting, and safety database management.
Synteract also offers secured access to AERS as an Application Service Provider (ASP). This allows clients the ability to enter, track and report their safety data from any location, while Synteract provides the technical support and maintenance of the system.
Oracle AERS is a full-featured adverse event reporting system, designed to meet safety data processing needs for regulatory submission and marketing surveillance and reporting by pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and biomedical firms. As a single repository of data, the system features custom query for data browsing and audit trail to track all changes to information.
