Cambridge, UK: Syngene, a world-leading manufacturer of image analysis solutions is delighted to announce that it is continuing to strengthen its North American presence with the appointment of a US Product Support Specialist and a manufacturer’s representative to expertly sustain the growth in demand for Syngene’s unrivalled image analysis systems by US life scientists.
Syngene has appointed Henry Bene as its Product and Application Support Specialist to cover Chicago and the US Mid West. Henry has a background in assay development and imaging gained within both major commercial companies and at an academic institute. His experience is underpinned by an MSc in nutritional science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and degrees in biochemistry and chemistry from Bradley University. Henry’s many years of technical expertise will enable him to understand and competently support scientists’ needs regarding Syngene’s high quality gel documentation and image analyzer range, which includes Syngene’s latest PXi Touch system for imaging and analyzing DNA and protein gels.
The second addition by Syngene is PAC LifeSciences LLC, an enthusiastic manufacturer’s representative covering the Pacific Northwest region of the USA. This representative was chosen because it has specialist knowledge of image analysis.
Paula Duarte, Vice President Sales and Marketing North, Central & South America, commented: “We have seen an explosion of demand in North America for our new DNA and protein gel analysis range, PXi, because they are so easy to use and offer incredible performance which no other image analyzers can touch at this price point.”
Paula added: “To ensure we maintain our award winning customer service, we are continuing to recruit new sales support people and manufacturer’s representatives in North America and are delighted to have been able to attract imaging experts like Henry Bene and PAC LifeSciences LLC to our team. These two appointments alongside our recent addition of VWR in Canada will ensure life scientists across North America can access the expertise and information they require to see first-hand why Syngene’s excellent imaging technology is in such demand.”
