SynapDx Corporation today announced that founder and CEO Stanley Lapidus was inducted to the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) College of Fellows. This honor recognizes Lapidus’ pioneering contributions to the field of biomedical engineering.
In 2010, Lapidus founded SynapDx to develop a novel blood test to enable the earlier detection of autism. In the U.S., the average age of diagnosis for autism spectrum disorders (ASD) is 4.5 years.
