Trevena Slashes 30% of R&D Jobs Amid Cost Cuts

Medical waste company Stericycle, headquartered in Lake Forest, has laid off 335 employees as part of a restructuring plan, the company said Thursday in a regulatory filing.

The company approved a multiyear restructuring plan Tuesday to reduce its head count. Stericycle expects to spend about $7 million to $10 million on severance costs, according to the filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
