PRNewswire -- Southwest Airlines announces today that the Company has reached a tentative agreement with the Transport Workers Union (TWU) Local 556, representing more than 9,800 Southwest Flight Attendants. The tentative agreement is for a new, four-year contract through May 31, 2012. The current contract became amendable on May 31, 2008. Southwest Airlines and the TWU 556 began contract negotiations in May 2008.
