San Francisco’s hottest club has everything: strobe lights, cheap Halloween costumes of stereotypical Egyptians, and an apparently live, maybe illegal camel.
That club is Ruby Skye.
Biotech industry employees who visited it for a party called “PABNAB” experienced all the trimmings of a cringeworthy Silicon Valley party — cultural appropriation, an expensive venue, and at least one live exotic animal — following an unaffiliated international pharma and biotechnology conference called BIO.
