The UNLV Absolute Dental Saturday Morning Children’s Clinic provides free dental care to disadvantaged children in the community who may be living in poverty or are without access to dental services.
LAS VEGAS, Feb. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- A dedication ceremony and open house for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Absolute Dental Saturday Morning Children’s Clinic will take place on Saturday, February 24th, from 9:00 to 11:00 am. All media and community members are invited to join as UNLV and Absolute Dental pediatric professionals unveil the clinic’s mentorship program and share services available to the public. The UNLV Absolute Dental Saturday Morning Children’s Clinic provides free dental care to disadvantaged children in the community who may be living in poverty or are without access to dental services. Spearheaded by Nevada’s first female board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Patricia Prada, Absolute Dental has partnered with UNLV School of Dental Medicine by donating $100,000 and volunteering time to mentor and train dental students while serving underprivileged children in Las Vegas. The Ribbon Cutting will happen at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine at 1700 W. Charleston Blvd., Bldg. A.
