CINCINNATI, Oct. 17, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- The Procter & Gamble Company hosted 350 of its top global suppliers this week in Cincinnati, Ohio to discuss their continued collaboration with P&G for a sustainable future and to honor top performing suppliers.

"With the current global economic uncertainty, strong relationships with suppliers are more important than ever to achieving P&G's sustainability goals and supporting the company's growth today and going forward."

"Suppliers of the Year" achieved this recognition by consistently scoring the highest in broad based quantitative and qualitative evaluations by P&G employees throughout the supply chain.
