Richard Florida’s keynote, “The Case for Inclusive Prosperity in Philadelphia” will touch on today’s urban challenges, which require a new strategy centered on inclusive prosperity. Florida will outline the state of, opportunities and challenges, for inclusive prosperity in Philadelphia. He will set the stage for the presentation of his research, which will be highlighted in subsequent events in 2019. On March 27, Florida will join Jefferson’s College of Architecture and the Built Environment for the Smart and Healthy Cities Forum. Supported by data and smart technologies, “Smart Cities” is an emerging paradigm in the development of urban environments in an attempt to be more efficient, healthier and livable.
