Novo Nordisk is investing in numerous training and education programmes to improve diabetes awareness in Pakistan, a statement said. “We have also tripled our workforce over the last two years and we expect to employ more people in the future, as we have strong faith in the business potential of Pakistan.” This was stated by Lars Rebien Sørensen, CEO of Denmark’s largest company, Novo Nordisk A/S, during his meeting on Friday with Minister for Commerce Engineer Khurram Dastagir Khan and Board of Investment Chairman Dr Miftah Ismail, it said.
